Great bakery. Awsome Carrot Cake. Best pies. Prices are good and service is friendly. Worth the drive.
Despite some recent reviews saying the quality has declined in recent times, my partner and I still enjoy this bakery. The coffee is good (not inner city standard but good). The bread is great and the vanilla slices are out of this world. We make the trip down from Emerald as we prefer this to our local bakery
Went for ride on motor bike and have a coffee this morning unfortunatly they were having reno work done, back open on dec 4 next week, great place for snack and brew.
Since new owners. Bread rolls are now being made in tins and are quite floury and not very nice. They all look like a slightly risen hamburger rolls and such a shame. Quality of pies a sausage rolls are just not like they use to be. Once a upon a time, a regular customer every weekend. Now once on a blue moon. Sorry guys. But if you don't receive feedback good and bad you don't know.
This is a tiny bakery that is set back from the other shops. Whenever I come up this way, it's always doing a good trade with the locals. I however, haven't really found it to be exceptional. It's not bad, just not as good as the many I've found around the Dandenongs. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Prices are reasonable. Not many places to sit outside. Kid friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Reasonably good parking.
