THE GEMBROOK PUB HAS BURNT DOWN since posting this review. so sad to lose a piece of history..... Gembrook still a lovely place to visitand if its booze and not Atmosphere of the pub, theres an IGA up the road.You have no idea what vale't service is!.... Until you turn up on a STEAM TRAIN and stroll 20 steps across the road....to the PUB IN STYLE!
Good pub with good food. Sadly burnt down in 2018. No longer trading.
We had to wait for a little while before being seated, but once we got acknowledged by staff our experience improved. We had a delicious meal that was on par with the price. There were a lot of patrons including locals. A very pleasant dining experience.
A good pub restaurant located in gembrook. It's very close to the puffing billy Gembrook station so very convenient. The service was good and the food filling. The decor was comfortable and the place gives off a calming and relaxing vibe. They even have cocktails.
Served rump steak with a pepper sauce and it was cooked beautifully. General service was quite good with the meal coming out in a reasonable timeframe. Also had a very nice range of beer/cider on tap. Only negative is it can get very noisy when crowded, we were lucky with very few people in for Friday night.
